Our newest associate chiropractor to join the Coleman Family is Dr. Courtney McKinney. She has a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, is a certified Movement Education Specialist, and is fully trained on multiple adjusting techniques including: Diversified, Thomson, Gonstead, Flexion Distraction, and Myofascial Release Technique. Her healing hands have been providing relief for her patients all throughout the state of California. Originally from Sacramento, Dr. McKinney draws on her twenty years of competitive athletic experience to assist her patients in exercise rehabilitation.
Dr. McKinney was an avid basketball player throughout her college career and also competed in power lifting with the APA and WPA organizations where she set records for the dead-lift, squat, and bench press in 2009. Her passion in fitness kept her busy working for places like Body Tribe Fitness and 24-Hour Fitness where she focused on personal training, corrective exercises, Kinesis training, body fitness assessments, as well as leading boot camp sessions. She still enjoys weight lifting in her free time but also enjoys back-packing, hiking, and is currently perfecting her surfing skills.
Dr. McKinney moved to the Monterey Bay area in December of 2017 and is enjoying the beautiful coastal scene. We are excited to be welcoming her to our Wellness Team and look forward to her creating lasting relationships with our patients.
