Meet the Team

Our newest front desk Rockstar is Tammy Murphy. She was born and raised on the Monterey Peninsula living in Seaside for most of her life. Tammy comes with over 20 years of front desk experience.

Tammy attended Monterey Institute of Touch back in the early 2000's and is therefore educated on how the body works. She has a caretaking spirit that is soothing to all those that she comes in contact with. She loves hugs and gives them away freely!

Tammy is a woman of strong faith. She is a devoted wife, a Mom of three grown children and a Grandma to a precious Grandson. Her hobbies include cooking, photography and making memories with her family. She is a huge Dallas Cowboys fan!

Dr. John H. Coleman graduated Summa Cum Laude in 1998 from the prestigious Life Chiropractic College West, he also holds a B.S. in Health Sciences. He is a Certified Independent Disability Evaluator and held a California State Appointment as a Qualified Medical Evaluator for several years. He is certified in many Chiropractic treatment specialties including Pettibon Spinal Biomechanics, Gonstead, Diversified, Advanced Certification in Sacral Occipital Technique including Visceral Manipulation, Nasal Specific, Thompson, Toggle Recoil, Activator, Arthrostim, Pro Adjuster, Impulse, BEST, NUCCA, Webster Breach Baby Technique, Logan Basic, Cranial Sacral, Extremity Adjusting and has served as a trial expert on Whiplash Trauma.

Specializing in Wellness Care, he earned an advanced certification in Wellness Coaching in 2007. As the Founder and CEO, of Coleman Family Chiropractic: The Pacific Grove Wellness Institute, Dr. Coleman Is Nationally certified and licensed in both California and Texas, in addition he holds a permit as a Radiological X-Ray Supervisor and Operator. He has many affiliations with organizations like The Doctors for Health and Wellness, The Planet Wellness Foundation, The Business Academy and The Foundation for Wellness Professionals. Dr. Coleman believes in giving back to his community and regularly volunteers his time to conduct professional presentations on many health and wellness topics.

He incorporates a variety of techniques to provide cutting edge care specifically tailored to meet your personal needs. Dedicating himself to continual research and education, Dr. Coleman diligently strives to bring the latest information and techniques to his practice to best serve you. He strongly believes in your ability to create your own health and wellness, and works with you to achieve this. He feels that too many of us live below our potential, constantly besieged by negative stresses that undermine our quality of life. Dr. Coleman knows that the greatest gift you can give your family, your friends, and yourself is to achieve your highest potential in life.

Dr. Coleman is a proud family man, having raised his son and daughter with his beautiful wife here in Pacific Grove. A native of Monterey who after attending San Carlos and Palma High schools served in the U.S. Army before pursuing his professional degrees.
